• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It seems that the sinking ship that is Swansea City gets more bizarre by the day, much like the comments coming from boss Michael Duff. We were led to believe by Barnsley fans that he had brought the fans and team together through good winning football, positive soundbites in the media and a positive...

I’m sure Martin was experiencing similar things to this when he took over, I remember Bristol away when he got his first win he wasn’t happy and said the players didn’t do as he asked, but this is going on now the players clearly are not enjoying it so far.

"It wasn’t a brilliant performance. But it’s been explained to them why because there were two weeks where we worked on things and then on actual matchday the players are doing their own thing."

I'd love to know what constituted the players doing their own thing. I find ti hard to believe that the ones here last season wanted to continually play aimless long balls into the channels. Especially given that most of those players were signed over the summer.

Fans aren't supposed to think for themselves and see that words and actions are different.

First half they did their own thing. Second half they did duffs thing after the half time chat

We need a manager who can find the dressing room because we apparently keep getting ones that lose it.
Perhaps we need more signage under the West Stand?

What Martin said was he would have liked more control in the second half of that match. And he was quite right.

Duff should have said the same last night because that's what can happen when you keep surrendering possession. If we'd had better control in the second half we could have won.

True dat. Maybe tells it's own story.🤔

After Russ, I thought I wouldn’t hear about “the process” again but hey ho Duff is no different. Whatever process it is it certainly isn’t the process for winning games!

Another alarming part is that the chairman and owners communicate with him by text. FFS this is Swansea City AFC with a proud history not a school playground. They should be talking, meeting, communicating face to face, not hiding behind their phones.

Say 1 thing for Russ, where he is now he doesn't call it a process, he calls it a transition.
