Just saw an article on Wales online linking us Aston Villa’s French midfielder Morgan Sanson. I’ve heard of him but can’t say I know much about him as a player.

Oh yes, we were apparently interested in him and Ziyech when we were doing ok in the Premiership, Sanson has suffered with a few nasty injuries though and maybe its a reason why he looks like he's fallen down the ratings, not that I know much about him over these last 5yrs or so, just going back to when we were supposedly interested.

Doesn’t stand out as a Martin signing, but has good calibre pre-injury. Will be interesting to see our approach when January comes. A centre mid and striker cover would be my must have and then potentially another wing back if we have any spare change

Sunderland and Lille fancy him as well, seeing as he's French hopefully he'll go there rather than Sunderland if not us.

He must be on at least 35k a week.

A midfielder I’d look at is Terry Taylor at Burton. Ex Wolves and a wales U21 playing in the holding midfield role. He’s 1.85m so would add a bit more physicality to our side
