• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

RIP.

Big swans fan.

I never did get the premise of that show btw. Was it just that wherever she went there was a murder, and if so why was she never under suspicion, or was she supposed to be a character in someone’s novel, and we were seeing the he novel acted out? Not as good as Columbo anyway.

It was shit. My mother was obsessed with it. I hated it.

RIP and all that though.

Yeah, not for me either. Interesting to see that she was nominated for an Oscar for Gaslight though, kinda has some resonance to it in modern times.

It’s a very good film too. And yes it does. A form of gaslighting is now part of accepted public discourse.

American poor man's Agatha Christie. Jane Marple she wasn't.

RIP. 96 - good innings.

Pah! Colombo was terrible. In every episode he only had one suspect and it still took him an hour to solve it.

Was she found dead in a locked room with a poison dart in her neck?

RIP to a fine British actress, but she struck it lucky with MSW, brought her millions. Typical yank afternoon TV fodder like Hart to Hart, Charlie's Angels, the Love Boat, etc. TV for the brain dead.
