He had a couple of good games, 3 goals and 4 assists but was terrible most of the time.
Could do well for Oxford if they retain him next season in league one.

Oxford have appointed Matt Broomfield as new manager , allegedly Alan Sheehan turned the job down saying now is not the time .

He wasn’t too bad but watching him was like watching slow motion. I could be kind and say he was deceptively quick? I think he got more game time than his contribution warranted but there is some quality in there.

A midfielder stuck out on the wing for us. Always looked better on the rare occasions he was pushed inside. Should be decent enough at this level, although probably no World beater.

The phrase "deceptively quick" always reminded me of de Guzman, he certainly never looked like a pacy player but when he got moving he couldn't half glide past players

JDG was one of the finest players to grace the pitch in the modern era, mucho-unappreciated. MPH might have looked good in a side going well with better players around him but he’s not one to elevate the collective performance of a team.

I agree completely, I still remember THAT free kick against Valencia. Even the home fans stood and applauded it
