• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

They're going to end up having to appoint Ramsey, and he'll take the job knowing full well that he probably wasn't even their fifth choice.

Worldwide search by their world class sourcing committee ends up with the interim rookie with one point from 3 games against poor teams. Money well spent.

A Cardiff supporting student told me proudly this morning that they were getting Osisn Roberts as Ramseyโ€™s assistantโ€ฆ๐Ÿคฃ.

I did think relegation might wake them up a bit, but it's an absolute shambles over there. I can't see them being anywhere near the shake up for promotion. They've no manager, not released a retained list, nothing.

Reminds me of that summer where Cooper was on his toes and we ended up appointing Martin days before the season began. Can easily see similar happening there.

The way we was heading with poor recruitment and owners and Williams, Duff etc. We was fortunate that Coleman left, Sheehan stepped up and more positivity came back into the club with Modric. The toxic environment around the club around January was showing all signs of downfall. But I fell strongly that we are going in the opposite direction with owners and recruitment now. Championship football is never guaranteed, but Cardiff was in far worse shape with lack of experience in recruitment. They played with fire with relagation before. I am that confident that I feel we have nothing to fear next season and only up turn.

Nathan jones in 2022

Jones has been tipped as a future Cardiff boss in the past, and has already admitted it's a chance he couldn't turn down.

"You never know where your career is going to take you," he added when speaking to WalesOnline in 2022. "Here at Cardiff, Steve (Morison) has just come in and implemented something so he will need time.

"But, look, eventually, you never know. It's not something I can sit here now and say, 'Yeah, it's something I really want to do', but, being home in Wales, I love Wales, I am a very proud Welshman, it's a long way in the future but I would never turn that down."

And he has lol
