New CEO

Do we know the size of his shareholding?
I won't claim to have any idea. Though, if I remember correctly, before the recent sale he owned somewhere in the 10-15% range (again, absolutely do not quote me on this). And through the sale I thought I read that he increased the size of his holdings.

So, purely speculative, but let's say 20%?

EDITED- I googled it and it appears that Coleman, Cravatt, and Jason Cohen own 77.41%. So, maybe the 20% isn't too far off?

Why? If someone on a forum had expressed concern at that appointment or signings when made (I didn't - we needed decent wingers and a manager, which is what they were when we signed them), what difference would it make to anything?

Do you really think Montague cares that some fans are questioning his suitability to the role?

Its a football forum, everyone's entitled to an opinion or not. There's no malice here.

Dyer, Routledge and Rodgers joined us when their stock was pretty low. The club took a chance on them when others possibly wouldn't have.

Not sure why you're getting so defensive. All I'm saying is let's give the bloke a chance before we dismiss his abilities.

Because you've riled me so much I've just had to kick the cat.

Didn’t we sign Dyer on the back of him just pinching off his teammates as well?

He was caught robbing somewhere, not sure if it was in the cloakroom of a nightclub or his team mates.

Cheers, mad to think that happened the rest is history he went on to get a Premier League medal fair ply. Cracking player for us
I know.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would turn out like it did when we first signed the scally 😂

Absolute ballsy move to sign him considering the background I can imagine 90% of the dressing room would have been weary as fvck of him 🤣

I'd would have locked my valuables in the car 😂

Back on topic though, I don't think you can compare taking fairly inexpensive punts on obviously talented but troubled players to the appointment of a high ranking club official who'll be helping shape club policy and recruitment.
