• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Dunno about a new CEO but we are now in the hunt for a new CFO (chief financial officer)
Gareth Davies has left the club after 13 years and stepped down from the board of directors too

The likes of Birch don't grow on trees - we did supremely well to secure his services for as long as we did.

The focus right now has been to dump our toxic, weakest link - Williams. And purge the club finally from the detritus left by the rotten Martin-Willy axis.

Hearing the feel good factor is already back, at all levels at the Club.
Birch does grow on trees 😃

Trevor Birch was good at his job, very good, he could also read the room and buggerd off at the first opportunity...
What would you have done when a premiership club came calling, stay and continue putting up with dumb and dumber or move on when a more than decent chance presented itself and he didn't stay there that long at Spurs again I don't blame him in having to put up with levy.

He was caught robbing somewhere, not sure if it was in the cloakroom of a nightclub or his team mates.
Southampton changing room with ene of the Wright-Phillips. We already had him on loan by then.
