• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The most recent news sounds more positive? As I said the other day, maybe the manager is easier to rush through and the others take a more normal visa process. Like a lot of things in this country there is no speed to any of the bureaucracy and the backlogs are everywhere.

That Wales Online article yesterday sounded a bit more hopeful. I don’t remember things ever taking this long but thinking about it, the last few appointments we’ve made have been domestic and it’s likely we’ve not had to go through the process as much.

Also I think since brexit the terms/conditions that work permits are granted have changed

Not much use with them making a daily announcement that there's no news
Nobody wants that but when there's endless speculation about things like this, a word to loyal supporters wouldn't go amiss. Even if it's to say that the matter is being pursued and may take longer than expected.
Football club owners ignore their fan base at their peril.

But we've heard this from Matos himself for the last two weeks. I'm sure as soon as we have progress we'll know about it

If this whole senario with VM's backroom staff doesnt work out just watch Gorringe try and bring in Sheehan and O'Dea as coaches.
