Imo no manager worth their salt is thinking we won't get the 6 or 7 points, maximum, to stay up.

We absolutely aren't an attractive proposition. Hell of a lot of work to do in the summer, off field issues, etc

They won't take the risk.

Any manager worth their salt won't touch us until we are 100% safe.

I’m hoping it’s more of a case of someone we want permanently has said they will come in the summer providing we stay up, and Sheehan uses this as a platform to show his skills off for potential new employers at the end of the season.

If that was the plan, I just wish they'd just gone with that at the time rather than waiting a month.

I do think that if - IF - Sheehan accepts this offer, I think it's highly likely he stays permanent into next season. I think only relegation or desperately scraping home by a point or two would see him gone. If he plays a straight bat and we come home 6-10 points clear, I don't think they'll try hard to look for anyone else*

*mainly as my esteem for those running the club is at an all-time low, which is harsh on those who've only been there 5 minutes, but until they prove me wrong with their actions, I'll consider them lacking ambition.

My confidence with those running the club has hit rock bottom as well. The lack of communication doesn't help either.

All they had to do was release a statement and just be transparent with us. If we're keeping Sheehan and reassessing the situation in the summer I'm sure the majority of us could live with that.

The biggest fear of mine right now is we start next season with Sheehan in the dugout. If he wins every game between now and the end of the season playing the attacking quick football we're desperate to see week in week out. I will be the first to eat humble pie.

Of course Williams was a fall guy. He was a mediocre manager with a poor squad. The poor squad was the fault of the club management, not him. That was the number one reason for us being where we are.

I’m not being remotely aggressive. I’m just fed up of the constant justification of why the management of this club is actually fine when it’s a shambles. My only ire is directed at those at the top of the club.

Not true, Williams openly stated in his press conferences it was him and his coaching staff who brought these players in.. you, ECB and Neath_Jack form the arrogant clique on here, bastions of knowledge and intellect, and self-certified know it alls.. you and ECB headed the trust, made excuses about too much going on in your personal life and very busy, did nothing, resigned and then both went on a tirade against the trust board who actually made the difficult decisions and done the job.. you're an accountant, ECB is a data administrator and Neath_Jack works on a building site.. I don't know where all 3 get your arrogance from, but just reading from here, you're the biggest a*seholes I've ever come across... Dr Winston another one.. talk about ego

I wouldn't read into it too much, he has had more usernames than Frank Worthington had football clubs.
