• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Probably the biggest decision the club needs to make in the last decade.

Get this one wrong and we’re up shit creek without a paddle.

Get it right and the next next level beckons......

Williams had us on the rocks and sinking sharpish, he lost the dressing room and most of the backroom crew yonks ago. Just like Martin did before.

Sheez & Marge to steady the ship, avert the nailed on mutiny and get us back to where we belong.

We need a shift from the usual type now imo. Haven’t got the key ingredients for controlled possession based football anymore. Someone with attacking intent and a relentless press would be nice. An experienced head until end of the season if the right man isn’t available currently.

Can't see us nicking from another club this time. Two poor appointments that has cost us financially.
There should be plenty out there. Just make sure Rooney's CV is not opened.

Let's not have a crappy lower league manager. We need an experienced head. I don't mind if it's international. Just someone who is not a Williams copy.

Someone to be ambitious about and very unlikely would be Kjetil Knutsen although I’m sure someone said he turned down Ajax so yeah pipe dream.

This new Richard fella seems to have a good understanding of them nordic leagues, I just hope we’re not going for another D grade lower league manager and certainly not Stuart Maynard from Notts County.

Slavisia Jokanovic someone who could be eager to get back into it, played some lovely football with Watford (basket case club) & Fulham and achieved promotion with both in this league.

Am I right in thinking it's only coincidence that a rumor of Steve Cooper to Boro came up this morning?

There's surely no way he'd come back, nor we go after him, right?

Boro have confirmed they’re sticking with Carrick now.

I said it before I was bored of his team. But yes he did have the money and we used alot of loans but he did get us to perform and go final. Personally I wouldn't want him back. But undertand why people would. We need something new.
