• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Nope he was that close.

He had even spent three days in a hotel watching every single one of our games from the previous season and the half of the season where we were looking to appoint him back to back, worked out every player he wanted to keep and who he wanted to move on and was ready to sign up to a three year contract.

The powers that be at the last minute decided to pull the plug on the three year deal and asked him to sign a 6 month contract to be reviewed in the summer. The rest as they say was history.
One of the conditions attached to the deal was a black and white striped stool / pouffe as Bielsa preferred to watch the game from low down, so the club asked the WI to knit a striped cover for the pouffe they ordered. My mum knitted it. When the deal for Bielsa didn't materialise, the club gave my mum the stool and she donated it, with the knitted cover, to the Cat's Trust for the moggies to sleep on. They still have it.

I sat in a traffic jam on the M4 for more than three hours today, hardly moved an inch. I thought about many things as I passed away the time, but none of them were even remotely close to the things that I have read on here tonight. I need to go for a lie down.
Was that Newport?

As we talking about the Uruguayan boss, how about Paulo Pezzolano as a left field choice.

A left field suggestion would be Nenad Bjelica, managed all over Europe, plays attacking pressing football

No, westbound Margam. I’d had an early morning appointment in the passport office and was on my way home with the plan of a quiet-ish afternoon, got passed the Pyle junction and everything came to a stop.

Two nasty accidents by the looks of it.

Unfortunately it seems to be a regular occurrence these days. 💔

I don’t know how bad the Margam one was, didn’t see any choppers in the sky and haven’t seen anything on news. A minor inconvenience for me, I hope all involved were ok.

Wouldn't the best outcome be: Sheehan getting a few points early on, safety seems assured, keeping him till the end of the season, then look for someone to take over for next season.
I mean, I guess it could work. Are you willing to risk it?
