New Manager

I thought from what that guy said to people in the press box recently (Guede or whatever his name is) was that Sheehan was the plan until end of the season unless things go royally south. Obviously from that BBC article it looks like he expects a new manager in soon.
There has been a few disagreements in regards to a new manager.
Think a few things have come to an head.

Can’t be bothered to start a new thread but it’s linked to “possession” football and the Pep wannabes. Capello said this about Guardiola. “He has done a lot of harm to football. Because everyone spent 10 years trying to copy him. It ruined football. A disaster and also a boredom that made many people flee from football.”

Right on the button imo.

It was Guardiola's response in a press conference that really raised my eyebrows. First, he calls anyone he is unhappy with 'Mr', so it was "Mr Fabio Capello". Which is kind of childish.

Mainly though, it was when he talked about how teams like Bournemouth and Fulham have improved since he came to English football. He very strongly implied that the improvement in teams like those was down to him and what he's brought to British football.

I'd love to see Pep achieve what Klopp did at Dortmund and Liverpool on limited resources compared to other teams.

Easy winning the title when you've got unlimited resources or you're in a one, two team league.

Football has been broken in recent years, looks at the Wrexham situation.....it's become a television drama with owners ultimately craving attention personally.

The word entertainment has slowly got stronger and used more often in football.

When clubs charge the prices they do, supporters should be entertained.

Wrexham fans would completely disagree with you and the majority of us look on rather envious at what's happening to the club. The majority of us would enjoy our club being in the spotlight they currently are.

Whether we like it or not both Ryan Reynolds and Rob McAllenney have done great work in the community.

Before their involvement the club certainly wouldn't be playing Man Utd in pre season friendly's in the US

I don't think Wrexham’s owners needed a north Wales club to get them personal attention mind 🤣

The seminal moment, the nadir for Pep, Pepball and Russell Martin has to be when Pep said : ‘I can learn some things from him (Russell Martin)’

it then went gash for them and their ideology

we need to copy Slot, and a club famous for playing entertaining football

Ryan Reynolds was practically unknown before becoming involved...
People are always looking for more, of course he was well known before but these types of people always crave more.

Bit like when people try to be clever on here 😉

Had a chuckle at that myself. Defending yourself against a claim or arrogance by claiming the Premier League is better because of you is an interesting approach..

I'm not knocking that side of it but it's like a circus on times and a sign of how modern football is going.
