New Manager

We have a bad mix of ageing journeyman, others not Championship standard, some with quality without physicality with 3 not great coaches taking everybody backward .
As for Coleman. Maybe he could see a real relegation scrap to the wire coming down to him so has done a runner avoiding any accountability.

It’s not acceptable if we just try to do everything on cheap. I really hope that isn’t the case.

Are they business men or what? You don’t get returns without investment and growth.

They need to get the right man in and back him. If not we’re spiralling. This is critical now.

I've heard that there is zero news coming out of the club on the manager front.
Either they're being extremely covert about it - or they really haven't made any progress in finding a replacement.

Could be Sheehan will be given until the end of the season to prove himself over a number of games.

That's what I assumed the plan would be, but didn't Sheehan say there would be a new manager in during this international break?

This appointment of a new Chief Executive will surely see things progress in the coming days?

They now have a face and name that will be assigned to the appointment. Despite the talk of Coleman doing the chairman role until the end of the season, he seems to be nowhere presently aside from the matchday notes.

We need to make the decision one way or the other as the new manager must have the chance to oversee what we have now and start planning for next season

Sheehan doesn’t want it till the end of the season, and it was said he would take training yesterday and today, so will be interesting to see what happens in the next few days.

Sheehan has to realise that if he walks, he is walking from money, there is rumoured to be a payout of 100k if he goes, but still has few years contract with us. So he would be silly to walk if he doesn't get the role. Maybe he will reconsider, take small pay rise till end of season and get some incentive in other areas. Who knows. I think he will be interim manager till end of season and will be announced. Summer I recon will be for new manager as realistically who is taking a team who has had no pre season nor time to review and learn our fate.

Sheehan has the safety net of Cravatt but it looks like he is trying to force their hand to give it to him now!
Not only to give him the job but trying to get a bigger tune out of them if he does manage it in regards of better players....can't blame in on that front.

All said above and it's just my opinion, I think even Cravatt is starting to see another side to Sheehan.

Let’s see what happens, if reported as true he was only taking training Tuesday and today, there’s going to be no one doing training then the rest of the week 🤣 but yeah I can see him being manager until the season ends on a slightly increased wage, we’ll offer him to stay on the coaching with the new manager providing he wants him if not I’m sure Sheehan will have some jobs lined up if he does well or some sort of mutual agreement to part ways if the new boss wants his own coaches.
