• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It is all about what might happen as 8 games to go but Leeds and Sunderland can at the moment be taken out leaving 6 games.

Currently 2 against mid table and 4 against teams below us.

We can't possibly as a club ignore how important the Derby and Plymouth games are.

The ramp up should be now, in fact should have already started , to get as many in the ground as possible.

I'm sure Derby will sell out, Plymouth maybe not as on a Wednesday.
Sell out? Bloody hell, Derby might. We won't.

I don't buy in to this narrative.

Just look at Eustace leaving a team in the play offs to take over a team deep in relegation trouble.

This club presents a huge opportunity for the right person. We have a decent training ground and youth set up.

It's not all doom and gloom like some want to portray.
Totally agree. The problem we have had is inept managers and people behind the scenes for a while. Any talented manger, be that who is looking to be with us to grow and build there own CV should think what we have produced. I know alot of people don't like us to be seen as a stepping stone but look at the jobs our previous e managers have gone onto. Any young talented coach should jump at opportunity.

I’m fully expecting to see Sheehan doing the presser for the Leeds game next week 🤣
Most likely. Still have no issue with this. Yes he has shown that he might not be the man long-term and till end of the season. Do the job, secure status and work towards hiring for after season.

We've always been a stepping stone and always will be that type of club.

There are only a handful of clubs in European football that aren't.

As we've learned since relegation. We have two types of manager:

1. Useless, who will be sacked within a year.
2. Good, who will be poached within a year or two.

Martin was an exception, as he covers points 1 and 2.

Hopefully not, will tell you after the next 3 games.
I wouldn't totally rule it out though.

All the signs are there if you are looking at us from the outside.
We will get six points at least. Leeds we will lose but easily get 2 wins and few draws at least
