• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I think the reason why people are underwhelmed is because the chances are ( with our past form ) is come the start of next season the three of them will most likely be still here.

I can understand that concern with Sheehan and the main head coach vancany, but I'm not sure what people were expecting with his choice of backroom staff (assuming this is actually true). Who could he have brought it that would have people speaking positively? That's a rhetorical question, of course.

I am obviously in that batch! It's just something I have got used too in the last few years....I used to be one of those who defended managers and so on but I think eventually I have been ground down.

As for Fotheringham, what's the link with Sheehan?
Not seeing an obvious one.
Who knows, maybe they met in their local Aldi's and became friends.

Some posters love to write people off before they've had chance to prove their worth.

Assumptions made by others are staggering.
Lose at Leeds on Saturday and it will be seen as conclusive proof that these 2 coaches 'don't have what it takes'. Just the world we live in.

Imagine the fallout if we don't get the minimum requirement against Derby and Plymouth!
Now, irrespective of who is the manager or putting the cones out at Fairwood, the fallout from bad results in those 2 games will be SPECTACULAR (especially assuming no points at Elland Rd).

Didn’t they play together at Notts County?

I don’t claim to ever get everything right 🤣 but some people just never pleased
