Eveyone is getting a new one because they're changing from a barcode to a QR scanner.

Yeah, I think QR is the way to go myself.

This is such a shame.
I was hoping they'd bring back those season ticket booklets.
You could tear off the relevant ticket as you queued up, then simply just pass your ticket to the person on the turnstile.
You could note how many matches you'd been to by counting the stubs, and look forward to forthcoming matches by counting how many tickets you had left.
