Morris - Looks a real player. He could cause a lot of damage in the championship. Pacy, strong and good movement.
Arriola - Didn’t get too involved to make a judgement. Although did well to play the ball out for our goal.
Whittaker - looks like the scouts & Steve know what they’re doing. Was a menace for Man City and what a touch and finish from the youngest on his debut. Looks like he could have a great future.
Freeman - Looked absolutely lost. Didn’t do much right. Will certainly struggle to get much game time here I feel.

thought arriola looked very strong
agree re freeman, although always going to be there for expereince
whittaker looks a good signing - hopefully a permanent pat of the squad for years to come rather than a loan

Come on mun, Guehi looked terrible until he found his feet....and Darryl Duffy looked a worldbeater.

Things will become clearer over the next three months. I just wish now we could get back and watch. I'm totally reconnected. It's going to be quite a ride.

Indeed, you’re right. Guehi looked awful for his first few games... and now looks like one of the best young centre backs in the country.

I can’t see Freeman going the same way as Guehi tho... he’s here for some experience and back up for Roberts... hopefully we won’t need him.

If Whittaker doesn’t make it as a player then it’s back to his postman job :D

I questioned the Freeman signing when I first heard about him coming, but to write him off based on his performance as sub against the Premier League leaders when we were already 3-0 down and he's only had two starts all season, for bleeding Swindon, is frankly embarrassing.

I haven’t written him off... just observations on tonight’s performance.

I honestly don’t think he’ll get too many chances ahead of Connor tho.

I've seen nothing from any of the new players that fills me with confidence that they will be any good for us.

None of them have played enough minutes to make that call, especially those that made their debuts tonight.

Whittaker surprised me a bit and his goal wouldn’t have looked out of place if he was wearing a Man City shirt. I don’t know anything about him really and wasn’t sure if he was one for the future or decent squad filler in the mould of CBR. I think I’m going to cling to one for the future now, no offence Courtney.

Freeman is definitely filler but will be needed at times, and besides passing to Man City at every opportunity he looks to have a touch and may well settle down. File under Jazzley Richards.

We have a right to expect something from Morris and Ariola but way too early to judge other than they both look positive and enthusiastic.

Morris looks a good addition.. the others we'll have to see. Freeman looks like a L2 player from his cameo yesterday

How, the everloving F*ck, people can confidently state what sort of contribution Freeman can make after 25 minutes against the best team in the country baffles me.
