Fair point...I'm neither of those and didn't vote for them either.

My views are based on my experience as a semi resident and business view point along with working with 10 London Borough authorities .

The main opposition was an unpopular candidate representing a very unpopular party. I don’t remember the numbers but I do remember turn out being down on the previous mayoral elections, a sign that the population viewed them all as a bit meh.

The sharia law point is nonsense though, I think it was started by someone writing it as Shakira law, the dumbo’s latched on to it and the rest is history.
