I don't like Spurs because of some of the people I've known who do. My wife's best friend's husband used to be a real Spurs firm thug when he was younger and is a real racist. Disliked him first time I met him. On the other hand, my mother & both sisters lived in the Gateshead area and some of the Toon fans I've met as a result have all been very nice people and even invited me to join them when Swans were playing there once as they had a spare ST. Easy choice for me and quite pleased about today's result.

My nephew supports Spurs (asked me who I was going to support next year when Swans were relegated thinking that only the Prem mattered, silly boy). He’s 21 and I recently pointed out that Spurs have only won the League Cup during his lifetime in which period so have the Swans, more recently too so…return on funds employed put us a million miles ahead of them. I like to tease.
