• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Where’s this love in from Swans fans come from then?
F*ck em.

I remember listening to their crowing when we used to lose to them. So yeah, screw them.

Time heals all wounds Darran

Have we even played Wrexham since the last days of the Vetch?

I like all the Welsh teams to do well. Well, nearly all.
And one hell of a game for Wrecsam today!

Yep, just read about the game, 5-2 down with 25mins left and win the game 6-5 incredible.

Not bothered about Newport in the slightest but would like to see Wrexham get back into league.

Fair play the Newport story is a good one and good luck to them. Dodged a bullet by refusing to play in Welsh League. Not really bothered about Wrexham Risc but would be OK for them to get back into League. Would love to see Cardiff heading in opposite direction and competing with them for the honour of being second best club in Wales.

Love to see both of them back in the same league as us.

Worked in Newport for 14 years, great bunch of boys, and the club were shit on from a massive height by the Welsh FA. To come back from where they have been is absolutely superb.

Had some great trips to Wrexham in the old days as well, always eventful.

I always thought we got on with Wrexham in a "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of way. First Swans-Wrexham game I ever went to there was loads of them drinking with the Swans fans outside The Vetch.

Never much took to Newport though.

Always had respect for other Welsh teams.
Dare I say it glad Cardiff are here as well, although of course I prefer it when we are the best of the four

I remember when Newport were in Europe the whole pub was listening to the game ( Carl Zeiss Jena I think ? ).
The pub that used to be in Waun Wen on Carmarthen Road.
Think it's a builder's yard and office now ?
