• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Have a read about this place. I went on a stadium tour here about ten years ago, incredible place when it’s empty, let alone full for a college game.

Nice place, Knoxville. If my memory serves me correctly it’s home to our very own FearOfAJackPlanet.

Close, but I'm in middle Tennessee, about 30 miles east of Nashville. I try and catch a few Titans games each season. At the very least, I'm aiming to get to the Patriots game for the return of Vrabel and the Chiefs game because, well, it's the Chiefs and I haven't seen Mahomes and co in the flesh yet, so would like to rectify that.

I'm heading out in just under 2.5 weeks. Got MNF against the Ravens and I've found a Lions bar in Boston, then the Brown's at Ford Field.

Fancied finding a College game between Cleveland and Detroit but that may be too much for Mrs F.

I don't really have a bucket list, but if I did watching a Virginia State entrance would be up there. There's a number of decent looking entrances and stadiums but the addition of Metallica definitely tips it for me.
Proud of you!! I live in Windsor Ontario and Ford Field is about 30 mins from my house - if you are ever in Detroit for a Lions game (mind you the orange twat has made crossing the border a little less easy!).
Huge season opener on Sunday - lets hope we can make it 3 on the spin at Lambeau.. Both teams will be right up there with the best this year - the game should be a classic!

Are you out Lebanon way? I went to watch the NASCAR once when I was out there, not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed it.

I miss my TN trips. Work was in Shelbyville but we stayed in Murfreesboro. Downtown Murfreesboro reminded me very much of the town in Back To The Future, or at least the town hall building and surrounding area did.

Americas so wierd. All the states have the same town names in them. There was a Lebanon in Indiana and Shelbyville, IN is where my kids were born, and still live.

Joe Lycett did a Sky doc called United States of Birmingham and went on a mission to visit all eighteen of them.

Yeah, between Lebanon and Mount Juliet. Not heard anyone mention Murfreesboro in that way before, but I can see it now you mention it. A lot of US town squares, at least in the south, look very similar, I assume as a lot of them were established around the same time.

Had the opening game on as background noise yesterday, Amused to see Jalen Carter expelled from the game for spitting at Dak Prescott before they'd even played a snap. Beast of a player, C*nt of a man.

Apparently the Chiefs v Chargers game today is being broadcast globally for free on YouTube, in case anyone is interested.

Looking forward to the Browns at Ford Field got tickets behind the endzone. I was thinking of touching base with you to see if there was anywhere that will be playing the Swans game on the 27th (7:30 am in the States I think) until I realised we will be driving from Cleveland to Detroit on that day!

The game tomorrow night is on Channel 5 over here so I will be wathcing that on free to view tele which is great, don't have sky sports so have to make do with redzone usually.

Channel 5 show is actually showing the game (massive win)

Dermot Leary is hosting (massive bulb) but Sam Quek is there so it balances out

I dont mind it

I'm going to jinx it by mentioning that the Raiders are ahead in Q4 despite being on the road.

How bad must those Patriots be?

The Jets get things going by losing to an Aaron Rogers masterclass and a 60 yard field goal. Dear me.
