It’s a money making franchise, the films have grossed $6bn, which allowing for inflation equates to $4bn- I reckon it’ll be around a while longer and until they start losing cash.

I read that it actually said in the end credits James Bond will be back…

So ‘shock’ ending of him ‘dying’ followed by ‘he’ll be back’. Pretty pathetic stuff really.

Swerve you forgot the bit where he gets blown into a trillion little pieces and now they have to either do a Bobby Ewing, or a Sherlock, or just do prequels of his younger days. Seeing Ashe ‘came out of retirement’ for this one, I’m guessing option 3 with a younger version again and they leave this as how he met his Waterloo.

Genuinely thought people were taking the piss about him dying but it seems it’s true. :lol:

I was honestly upset when it finished saint, how sad is that!

Probably my favourite bond film I think, but I was expecting a big chopper to come and pick him up at the end, I couldnt believe he died.

Just been to see the much awaited offering from the Bond franchise. Have to say it was well worth a watch, if not a totally unexpected offering.
A few nods to past Bond movies, with a quite unexpected ending.
Anyone else seen it, if so what are your thoughts.

I haven’t seen it yet but I used to go out with a Bond Girl.

It would've worked IMO if it was called 007 or similar as loads of different agents could've played the role.

Well I haven’t seen the film but I’m gonna guess they’ll resurrect him in some way. Or embrace the age old theory that James Bond is a code name passed between secret agents as you suggested. That theory’s been around for years.
