• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

DF on that looming game against the Swans. 'I have not spent one second thinking about that game. First Boro, then Milwall. But they will have had a week with their feet on the sofa.'

He's not making excuses, but just telling it like it is, which is why I expect us to win 2 - 1. Them playing on Tuesday has to have hurt them, which is great!

If/when we beat them, he will bring that up, thus making it an excuse.

EDIT: what a great result. That puts us 8 points ahead of Muff with a game in hand. Results are certainly going our way this week. Can Brizzle bring off the unthinkable tomorrow?
Hopefully, and follow it up with a goal fest on Saturday. :fingers_crossed:

Loving the optimism here folks, just got that “pride before the fall” thing in my head...

The lads and the boss have done us proud, Norwich are a couple of points in front for a reason, if we get the 3 points Friday my confidence will be sky high!

I’m always the pessimist... apologies!

Nothing wrong with that. All football supporters are used to that feeling of the stars aligning, going into a huge clash in good form while the opposition seem to be struggling, then seeing the team fall flat on their faces.

I just hope we don't get to the end of the game thinking what if we'd been more positive, if we'd looked to win the game rather than play for a point and hope to pinch a win. That feeling after big games this season is one of the only criticisms I have about Cooper, who is doing a wonderful job overall. I'm not advocating going gung ho, just concentrating on where we can beat them rather than on stopping them beating us.

Imagine Brentford win tonight and we win Friday. The top of the league will be tighter than a duck's arse.

It would definitely. Could be in a position Saturday, and I emphasise could, with Norwich on 55, Brentford on 54 and us 53. I’d say knowing this division it’s extremely unlikely it’ll be that way

Definitely hasn’t spent one second thinking about it then.

Why didn't we have a game this week anyway? With the cup next week and the inevitable easy passage into the Quarter finals, our schedule is going to get squeezed.

I think Bournemouth have taken just 4 points from their last 7 league games. From looking very strong for the first few months, they've completely imploded.
