Not sure how reliable this is regarding restrictions

Nightclubs to close. Legal social distancing in workplaces. Seems to be about the size of it.

The last thing I want is for nightclub owners to lose lots of money at the busiest time of the year but if this omricon is so bad how can you wait twelve nights before closing nightclubs.
The virus is off on its holibobs for Chrimbo or something is it?
It’s not making sense.

No, if Omicron is such a threat they surely need to close now. Many of the kind of people who frequent night clubs will be determined to party as hard as they can before the 27th to make up for missing out on New Year’s Eve.

Well Drakeford didn't say anything on the news about 40 minutes ago, but perhaps he's a patsy and bowed to the will of the Freemasons who control the world apparently

It's on the bbc website now. As much as I dislike the turds, it's actually quite sensible and measured guidance.

Closing nightclubs will truly ruin my 2022.

I think the announcement tomorrow will be slightly different to that hinted at today.

Watch this space.

I've read links but they focus on night club closures. I wonder how pubs with function rooms and late licences are affected? (Asking for a "big birthday" friend).

Plus Drakeford has also said that Wales will remain at alert level zero. This substantiates what you say about most if not all key points being pushed out on Thursday.

Well it’s no great insight on my part they’ve done it for every Welsh Government review since the pandemic began.

Take that all day long!

More detail tomorrow but if there was to be anything around sporting crowd restrictions it would have been trailed tonight I reckon.

Hold the bus! This article is suggesting that large sporting events is on Mondays hit list...

They've probably predicted that the peak of the wave will be after that date. We haven't got access to huge amounts of support money, so they will be trying to strike a balance, whilst leaving things open for as long as they can.

It's silly sporting events trying to muddle through this, look at the rugby and football fixtures this weekend, already loads postponed. Not fair on the teams that then have to squeeze games in further down the line, whilst others have already got them out the way.

Old Dipford has found £16 million squid I hear to prop up the hospitality industry, I'm guessing he's only had the money as England are doing the same.

Some nightclubs will "redefine" themselves as pubs or coffee shops if they have the desire to do so.
Could have been worse, not great though.

He's been a very good leader through this. He hasn't pandered to anyone, made tough decisions for the benefit of the people in Wales.

It's £60 million.
