• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Ok then, Sunday slurp of choice

Just opened some canned Oranjeeboom, 2021 vintage.
Do enjoy ladies and gents and feel free to post your slurp of choice for this afternoon.

Had a wonderful few pints Gower gold down the Brittania yesterday.
Wonderful to see everyone out enjoying.

Slurp of the day today has been Butty Bach and Welsh Pale at a local pub. Very nice.

The Red Lion, Llandyfaelog. First time I’ve been there for a while on account of the lockdown etc, we had a lovely lunch, a few great beers and a warm welcome.

Jesus wept!
The good people of Llanmadoc would be perplexic with rage if you thought the Brit was in Penclawdd 😯

Llanmadoc. Have a wonderful visit if you go to LLANMADOC 👍

Must have drove past it a few times on way to King Arthur, will have to pop down there, have a drink and some food.

Don't mind the Oranjeeboom dickie, but you need to get yourself down to Aldi and treat yourself to some Williams Brothers Otis Blood Orange IPA in a greeny blue can if you can find any.
5.9% but you'd never know. Goes down very easily on a hot summer's day but you'd have to come up norf to find that out.
