Eastville was probably my first ever away game... special train to Patchway, bricked by Cardiff fans both directions, police escort and fighting with the gas. I was only 14 I thought it was great at the time.
Went there on way back from our postponed game at Derby under Tosh. All on coach wanted to be brave and watch the Rovers/Chelsea game. Bad move...Chelsea were fckn everywhere and kicking anything that moved.
Was an experience I've not forgotten.

So was mine, father took me there on a cold frosty boxing day. If memory serves we right , it ended 0-0 but sure Gwyther hit the bar late on. Was hooked after that, and spent 45 travelling to away matches, though don't go away any more.
 
I remember quite a big open terrace in the away end in the shadow of that big cylinder
