Failure really in football terms, so more likely another Bony than another Leon. Plus probably expensive and dubious discipline and knocking on.

No. But I wouldn’t mind if we do take a punt at all, as it could work. High risk.

I echo Monmouth’s words on Oli….

He’s high risk although you’d hope he’ll apply himself rather than get sucked into a Wind St jolly at his age…

Maybe we’d be better off trying to re-sign Dennis Oli !! 😱

Got a kid and married seems to have settled down, made a big effort in Spain learning the lingo etc

At only 29 I was all for this coz he should have years in him. Then I saw he's scored 3 league goals in 33 games and I'm wondering if he was playing with a blindfold on or something?

Not amazing but 6 assists to go with the 3 goals, and the opposition most weeks is TOP class - being in a championship game v Real Madrid and Barcelona is not an easy gig

Spain was always an odd move for McBurnie I thought.

He is the type of striker that loves the physical battle and will feed off of crosses and service into the box. I haven't made a point of watching La Liga for some time but unless there has been a dramatic shift in the league then I can't imagine that many sides would play a style that suites his game.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he gave away lots of fouls with many Spanish officials not really a fan of the physical side of the game.

He is realistically a lower Championship side striker now and his wage demands have to reflect that unless you factor in kpi bonuses.

We are firming up the wide areas so the question is, can we rely on Cullen and Vip to improve and is Wales going to need settling in at this level.

His goals came late in the La Liga season which suggests he hit a bit of form.

As always wages will play a huge part in the decision making by the club. I think he would put a few more bums on seats as he has a bit of a cult following.

He would also be a tiger in the pressing game..100% effort in closing down.
BIG IF - but if his head is totally into the football I am all for this!
