I saw an old documentary last night and John Sullivan was heavily influenced by his Dad plus steptoe and son and minder .
They don't have make some absolute tosh these days in comparison.
The early OFAH episodes are superb and capture a time that despite being 30- 40 years ago are still relevant and highlight situations that are recognisable today.
My only gripe is it got a bit precious in its latter years.
But on a miserable rainy Sunday in winter an early episode on Gold/Dave can really cheer me up.

Sullivan stole jokes from Steptoe and Son,and other places I’ve picked up on them several times.

I think if you look deep enough , theyve all done some manipulating of someone elses stuff.
