Our American fan base

I have been a fan of the Swans ever since they came over here to North Carolina on their preseason tour back in 2017. As an above poster said, a lot more Americans have gotten into the sport the last few seasons, but their are also a lot that do not truly understand what it is about and are cringey in how they cheer on their clubs.

Our owners have gotten a lot of flack(Rightfully so mind) but hopefully they are starting to turn the corner and their are some signs of that. Snoop being involved is cool and all, but more to me it shows a distinct appreciation of what needs to be done to move the club forward.

Main thing now is to keep improving on and off the pitch and I think we will.

Americans in general will start following the club more and hopefully they will do so in a positive manner and not say piss on it if we do have bumps in the road haha.

Hoping to come over to Swansea next Summer for the first time ever! Let me know if want to meet for a drink haha(Except you @Darran ;) ).
Ryan welcome, my remarks above are not aimed at you or the American people just 1 person
you wont have a better welcome than in Swansea where becomes a jack very soon everyone

I think most American people are tip top. like every where always some idiots and unfortunatly the biggest one is their president and like my Canadian pals will not be setting foot even in transit on usa soil until he has gone , even people who live there tell us its not safe , that of course is just my opinion, the guy is wreking the usa in name and deed and making the world a lot less safe
A fantastic country to visit with some lovely people within it. Just not going in the right direction of travel right now, and a lot of that is driven by the man at the top. I would say that most fans are welcomed with open arms, we cannot afford to be turning fans away.

Talking from experience and generalising but Americans are amongst the most friendly and welcoming people I’ve met anywhere in the world. It’s not the greatest nation in the world for no reason. Unfortunately the criminal kleptocrats have risen to power around the globe and now they’ve had all the wealth from the masses they’re starting to pick fights with each other. It’s not even dystopian, it’s here now and the Brexiteers, Mail readers and Trump fans will be crying when they’re wearing rags.

I agree, Itch. Spending a bit of time in the country and in the company of the natives provides a very different perspective.
