• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Absolutely awful. Can’t do the basics. We will always struggle if we persist with three at tge back.
Midfield was overrun. Drop a centre back and put a midfielder in!

We did at half time.

I absolutely agree though, consign 3 CB's to the fucking bin.

The irony is we looked slightly better with four at the back but conceded two.

It's a massive mess from top to bottom

I said last week that selling Nathan Wood to Southampton would automatically strengthen our defence at a stroke, he's fucking wànk ...

The three defenders we signed on deadline day should absolutely walk into this side.

If they don't, then serious questions should be asked why we bothered signing them because if they can't displace the likes of Wood, Cabango and Darling there'll be something wrong somewhere.

I thought we looked awful after the switch, it isolated our defenders with Bristol pushing up and gave them control in our own half.

2 of them certainly should. Key should move to rb and the Chelsea lad to left CB, and then one of the 2 left backs will come in.

To me it was a definite improvement. We were carved open and should have been four down at half time.

I suppose it's like upgrading from a Nova to a Corsa

They tore us apart down our right hand side in the first half, and straight after half time we took Ashby off and put Naughton in his place :o
