• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I've never walked out of games early as much as I did last season and done the same again yesterday simply not on its so boring and predictable hes killing us

There are certain things that Grimes is good at, but he's absolutely nowhere near as essential as first Cooper and now Martin have made him.

No team with a midfield built around him as an ever present will be able to consistently play high tempo football. It's just not in his skillset.

I’m not going to defend Grimes but why are people so fixated on him when at the root of all our problems we clearly have a stationary Kyle Naughton pulling the strings! Why are we not talking about that?!!!!!

Also spot on.

Actually agree with Darran’s point but he’s nowhere near the root problem.

No the root problem is the owners and the manager.

Personally, I'd love to see Grimes dropped for Joey when he is fit.

But, i don't think it will change anything really, because Joey will have to fall into line and play the same tippy tappy nonsense that Grimes is being told to play. In other words, we are fucked no matter what :|

Frisbee apparently.

He's an immensely frustrating player because there is quality there somewhere. Deeply buried, but he can play good attacking passes when he wants to. Problem is he's been here seven years now and there's only one season (Potter) where most people accept that he played consistently well, not well enough to deserve the plaudits he got, but well enough.

Part of is is undoubtedly tactical, under RM as well as Cooper, but a lot of it isn't.

I've already mentioned about us being robotic but badly programmed.
.Aside from that as a team, are we nullifying our front 2. Obafemi is best playing on the shoulder and running into the through ball. Hardly ever played. Piroe is capable of a snatch shot from the edge of the area but his role now seems deeper and deeper so not in a position to catch the keeper.

Martin needs to stop playing players who not only can't play his style of football, but cause us a problem as a result of it. Korey Smith. Jay Fulton. Lati. Find different solutions.

Come on I set it up for the reply

We can't park the bus

It's the visiting teams who park the bus. Happy to sit with banks of four or five and then pick us off when we push too far upfield. It's a frequent occurrence of push up, mess around with short passes, lose posession, long ball back at us, bang!

We need to be quicker and move the ball to our quicker player's, Oh hang on !

He's got rid/side lined the players with pace, he wants to kill the oppositions running by playing stagnant football, its brilliant stuff
