On a more serious note, there but for the grace etc go pretty much anyone of us on here over the years in our younger days and in less enlightened times. Look, I’m not going to get dragged into your style of “debate”

I’ll just try and explain in simple terms that I hope you will maybe get 25% of.

You can be uncomfortable with this type of thought crime policing while still believing that homophobia and racism are awful.

I’m not a trumpian free speech absolutist. I’m simply explaining as ECB has said that you can be high and mighty on this stuff while rewinding several years I bet many would have giggled at some of the chants that were there at time or even joined in.

I specifically remember a lot of homophobic chanting of a guy in a pink shirt in the not too distant past for instance.

I won’t say anymore on subject as you seem to believe I’m something I’m not and it gets rather tiring.

My thinking is often nuanced and I know you find that hard to understand.
