• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Bit of an odd thread, tbf.

Surely WE want to win every game and finish as high as possible - points mean prizes - kudos, team motivation, $ (eg there's a 50% uplift in prize money if we finish 10th vs 11th etc, as far as I recall). So, more Swans vs Oxon fans is always best for us.

We need more local folk always pitching up instead of skiving behind their illegal streams.
The product is there, the entertainment value is pitch perfect. Get on down..........

Nobody has said anything about wanting Oxford to win..

Well I'll be honest, if Oxford winning means the scum go down, I'll happily lose seeing as we're now safe and I don't believe championship prize money changes with non promotional positions unlike the prem.

That exact scenario is coming brother.

I think you are right about no extra money per league position. I think the only extra is TV money, if you get more home games over and above the contracted figure.

Filling empty seats by giving away fans more tickets should be a no brainer

Absolutely. When you saw the acres of empty seats in all three stands on Wednesday, give them all the seats they want, I say.
And turn it in to a home game for them?

The emphasis from the club between now and the end of the season is getting as many home fans in to the ground as possible.

Give them half the ground and put the reserves out.

I jest, of course...would (almost!) never want to see the Swans lose, but if we're safe and a loss would guarantee 'them' relegation, of course I'd want a loss. I think most would, despite some 'holier than thou' posts.

Personally I don't mind them staying up. I quite look forward to the derby games each season.

Spot on.

Maximizing Revenue is a prime focus however not at the cost of disadvantaging us and our chances of winning. Points make prizes too.

Get more Swans bums on seats first, get the online skivers signing up to Swans TV, and then get more away fans in - pretty sure our new Leadership Team will be all over this simple algo.......
