• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Blimey, literally my daughter was in the same room as him, at the Comicon convention last weekend in Birmingham.
RIP.

I'm not a metal fan, but Ozzy and Sabbath thoroughly deserve being called Legends. He lived some life. And in some ways that he got he got to see and feel the love for him at the Villa Park gig is a great way to sign off. RIP Ozzy you madman.

One of my favourites from his later work. The title track from what, as it turned out, was his last album. It’s an excellent album but I love this song.

A working class bunch of Brummies who defined heavy metal. The story is that Ozzy went around with a brick on rope because he couldn't afford a dog.

They don’t make them like that anymore.
R.I.P. Ozzy. Thanks for the legacy and an entire genre of music you and your mates left us.

The Osbournes added on Prime recently, good time to look back on the legend. 🦇 🤘🏻 💜 🖤

The best thing that ever happened to Ozzie was meeting his Mrs "O" - who got him far away from her father and eventual father in law - Don Arden.

RIP Ozzie - you bat crazy, paranoid fvcking Legend.
