Seriously laughable.

Vs Luton it must have been well below 50%...

We can't even play simple balls any more.

I’ve seen enough games over the years when our pass completion was off the scale and we lost.

I’m just laughing at it all now.

I think we need a bit of perspective. It's obvious that we arent playing great at the moment, whether this is due to tactics or lethargy I dont know, but it's clear we arent the only team at the top struggling with this.

Brentford looked pretty poor last night, and watford won right at the death at Cardiff today. I think the nerves are starting to hit now and the players know what is at stake. Not just for us, but for Watford and brentford too.

We seem to have hit a blip, but our points return since the Norwich game (when we started the blip IMO) has been good.

Keep the faith, I dont think anybody is playing great at the moment

We need to accept that attractive, free flowing football ain't Cooper's thing. He's been here nearly two years now, and entertainment has been at a premium for almost all of it. Whilst far from a Tony Pulis side, we are comfortable going more direct than at any point in a long, long time. We're a team built on keeping it tight and looking to nick a goal or two, and it's working so far.

Whilst results exceed performances then most will be happy enough. If results start to slip then it could get ugly quickly.

Simple explanation, we are tired as cooper has exhausted quite a few of the squad by playing them too much.

I'm guessing that behind closed doors hes asking everyone involved to give everything until after the scum game when we will have 13 days rest before the next game.

This is how I currently see it looking at Fulham too.

They went up playing good, attacking, flowing football and got absolutely stuffed. Now they're more pragmatic, more solid and they have a chance of getting out of the relegation zone and maybe at the expense of Brighton who play free flowing, attacking football.

We are generally solid, but don't create much. Maybe this is a style more suitable to stay in the PL if we get there.

It's not easy to watch but the players are clearly exhausted and we don't have any depth to rotate much.

We are clearly jaded and you can see the work rate depleting game on game. Thought our midfield looked very sluggish today and even CR was out of sorts for him. We slow going forward and closing down the midfield resulting in us going route 1 to isolated players.

Not sure these games back to back is allowing training to get us back to doing basics again as we are clearly needing to address our poor passing game and especially our liability keeper.

I suspect, well I'm hoping that the management team will be using their nous and not train them too much.

They don't need to as thirteen games in 7 weeks will be enough training.

Really disagree with that first sentence. Norwich and Bristol C first half shows what we’re capable of and it’s not as if Cooper sets us up to be negative. He’s rotating the squad now which is good, though still too slow to react to events on the field for my liking. End of season run in will be more like a k.o tournament. Cooper will be in his element.

I could accept 'free flowing football' was on the back burner as long as we looked like we were interested in taking a two goal lead.
We score and then spend the rest of the game kicking the ball to the opposition to attack again and again and again only coming to life if there's an equaliser or go behind. Playing ugly some of the time is inevitable, playing ugly as our one and only tactic is awful ... points or no points.
At least Pulis' hoofball rarely sits back on one goal leads.
As someone posted, in terms of entertainment or excitement, the worst thing we can do is score early.

What we're capable of and what we consistently do are two different things. For every Norwich there's about three Lutons, Middlesbroughs or Coventries. The games where we've played entertainingly are far outweighed by the ones where we've been dull, and that's been the story since 2019.

For me that's exactly what he does. You said it yourself, it's a tournament mentality. Keep it tight. Nick a goal. It's working, but that doesn't mean we've got to savour it.

Maybe he's playing horses for courses. Maybe if we do go up he'll go in a different direction. Hopefully so.
