Compared to the modern players many of the "GOATs" aren't fit to scrub his boots clean let alone lace them up.

Some have the skill but a horrible personality (C Ronaldo), I have never found a negative article about Pele which says so much about him as a man which is even more important because of who he was as a player.

He will be missed and I wouldn't be surprised to see games everywhere take a minutes applause/silence for Pele this weekend.

People of my generation will always remember him from watching the 1970 World Cup finals (in colour!), often being allowed to stay up late for the matches because the time difference to Mexico meant they were kicking off late evening in the UK.
That Brazilian team were magical, and he was the master magician. They tore Italy a new one in the final. RIP Pele, the Greatest.

Eh there's plenty to be found.

Ol Edison was a bit of a shagger and big mates with Messiur Blatter.

Incredible player but the reasoning behind why he is the 'best ever' is always flawed and often comes down to 'because he's Pele innit'. People of that generation are very nostaligic for the auora that was seeing him play once every 4 years.

Swansea City having a minutes applause for is a bit much though.

Just heard on the BBC news that Pele's mum is still alive ( the funeral passed her house ) wow.
