Another thing I’m not getting is if you’re stating facts you’re seen as being negative.
Today we have one win in ten games, that’s not negative that’s a fact.
We might win every game between now and the end of the season and that would be a fact if we did but I’m talking about today’s fact.

I honestly don’t get it.

Yep. You don't have to like facts but they are facts. An opinion is that with a better manager we would have 6 wins from 10. That's my opinion.

Oh, and plus, as it happens, I think if we do persevere with the approach of the last two games we could well get a play off spot. Not because we are great, but the division is gash and we should be better than most of it with the players we have.

I'm not seeing or hearing much if any adulation of Martin either on here or at the stadium.

Yeah but don’t let that get in the way of a cool story mun.

Same here. Where is all this adulation for Martin coming from that people keep complaining about?

I think Copamundial is pretty much the only poster here who defends the manager, while I can think of multiple posters who have been hammering him for a long time.

There’s loads on Twitter and there has been since day one.

And on a side note who mentioned on here?

Yesterday we were 2-0 down to two pathetic goals (again), scored a goal from a rebound from a speculative shot (then didn't have many others the whole game) and had a bit of a go at them until half time where we did play quite well.

Second half, we were dreadful. Zero attacking intent despite us being behind. Sorinola coming off the bench when we have Oko Flex, Paterson and Obafemi in the stands and Whittaker out on loan sums up the manager. If Martin keeps falling out with people, maybe he's the problem and not everyone else.

Here is the only place where I really follow opinion on the Swans, so only place I could speak to.

Fair enough if it's all on Twitter. My opinion, based on limited Twitter use, is that you can find a few people supporting the most outlandish arguments somewhere on there, so I tend to ignore it.

There's quiet a few on the Swansea city YouTube channel that won't have a bad word said against him, after our win last week one posted said that Martin was out best manager ever!

And another thing, I'll tell you what's saving him at the moment is the table position, all people can see is the playoffs.

Utterly bizarre.

That's insane.

You're right. That's just it, it's elsewhere. The 'Martin In' thread spoke volumes - the silence was golden. This site is largely sheeple free, hence the growing popularity.

It'll be the shouty wannabe Russell Martin mid-thirty bearded brigade on SM, along with twp pork scratchings salesmen from mid-Wales and the just as twp white van man from Neath, say.

Along with the peripheral wannabe places that sidle up to Russy just in case they get spotted by the Club and make the big time with a seat at the pressers.

It's all worse than cringe.

And not an ounce of rational thinking amongst them that can ever explain wtf Martinball is all about.

There's nowt as twp sheeple.

Edit - Excellent thread, btw

I actually said similar to someone by message earlier.

Oh and leave Neath out of it.
