So the narrative that the owners have let him down by not backing him in the transfer market is clearly a myth.

Isn't that the issue though.

There is no one problem and there will be responsibility in many places.

Depends how you read things, how many did he want? Has there been any structure in who bring in.

There's always more questions than answers and of course opinions

The fact that he's the one who wanted Fisher/Wood/Darling is enough for me. Clearly not good enough for this level and have literally shown no improvement.

I would like to see how all three do under a coach who knows what he's doing. At the moment the defence is all over the place with no evidence of any kind of organisation or drilling. We've seen before that a leaky backline can be tightened up with no changes in personnel.

As for Fisher, he's clearly low on confidence at the moment, which doesn't help those around him either. I don't think he's great by any stretch, but I do think he's capable of being at least competent.

Fisher is a strange one for me. He did look impressive at MK. That may have been through the RM link I took more notice of him. However no other club really seemed to take much interest in him and when we bought him I did think this is our next investment. Despite a few decent performances looks like I might be wrong.

Just find it odd that Cabango/Wood/Darling are 3 relative 'units' to look at, yet are so lightweight in what they do.

It's a spiral effect concerning Fisher and the CB's, they are slowly dragging each other down to a new low level.

Absolutely. To a degree Benda started suffering from it too in his last few games. Confidence breeds competence.
