    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

I have probably posted on the football only thread more than most...I have followed the Swans since 75/76.

As for being an abusive individual, I would say I react in a similar way to the person I'm responding to ie being a bully(prosser)will get an aggressive response from myself. I cannot understand others don't see this, they're either weak, dull or are willing to put up with it...I WILL NOwT. He is a wànker and people know this, just too weak or cowardly to call him out. He's done it on this forum, the forum which was amalgamated with this and possibly others. I will always call out bullies.

If I looked at a forum on a subject that interested me and saw there was a regular poster/posters who I didn't think I'd want to engage with, I think I'd just not bother registering an account.

Oh, I don't know, there are quite a few posters I enjoy reading and it's nowhere near as toxic as the other site had become. There's always a bit of tongue in cheek name calling but you get the odd one every so often who seems quite unstable in this environment. Some are just somewhere between boring and comical, like Pikey was on the other site, others are just plain nasty. For example, this is what someone said to me recently just because I found something funny that someone else had said to him "Don't you start c**t lips or I'll be inside your missus before you can say Newport Centre...now do one ya faggot."! Nice guy eh? Maybe he'll be gone soon with any luck.
