It looked from the East as if he wasn't necessarily in agreement with being taken off.

That in itself isnt an issue as it shows hunger to play which is good but just interested if anyone closer got the same impression or whether we go it wrong

Never gets any service, our play is far to slow, very little pace on the ball going forward and we lack players with pace, midfield is were it starts and finishes and normally at the feet of Grimes, whose back is 90% of the time is facing the opos goal, its great keeping the ball between the edge of our penalty box and the half way line, just a shame that games aren't won in those area's, need to move the ball quicker and forward and to players who have a bit pace,

Preston today and Huddersfield last week both lined up with 5 at the back and 4 sometimes 5 in front of the defensive 5 pace of the ball and guile needed to break through these sides, Downes ingenuity and determination got us a point last week and Manning's 30+ yarder won us the game today, but we couldn't win last week which we deserved and we couldn't kill the game off today because of the points I made above, but we game fully hung on for the 3 pts.

Yes agree.
From the East as well looked unhappy at being subbed and seemed to be doing a "Ronaldo"
I did mention that to a couple of guys near me at the time ...

  You must have a good view!

Martin seemed to have a long conversation with him when he came off, didn't look pleased but I wouldn't say throwing toys for either.
To be fair I don't think I'd be delighted playing in front of Korey Smith as an AM

He was desperate for a pass. So desperate that when we had a promising position he drifted offside each time. The one when Wolf gave him a pass shortly before he was taken off was inexcusable.

Cracking view :D :D
Think I'll get some binoculars for future games just to be certain

He seemed to have a long chat with Russ and seemed fine about it to me.

I didn’t think he did too badly… he had a few nice touches but didn’t get many opportunities.

Hopefully, in time, him and Wolf 🐺 will come to a similar understanding as him and Pato did

And he hit it straight at the keeper!

As I said genuinely not fussed if he did get frustrated at being taken off would much rather that than someone who shrugs their shoulders and wanders off without a care in the world

Agree with the other comments though in that we need to give him better service

I agree service wasnt good today for him.
Hopefully you had a better view than me and your assessment is correct.
That said, good players lose it now and again and come back stronger and determined to show the boss they were wrong.
That wouldn't be a bad thing either

Swans twitter had a video of all the team clapping the fans after the match & he seemed pretty jovial in that. Think he’s just frustrated whenever he doesn’t score, which is great.

Watching on Swans TV he didn’t seem too happy. Thought he brushed off Martin a bit. Could be wrong.

.
You're right, he did brush him off.

Much in the same way Martin brushed off Joel, ditched him unceremoniously in place of Obafemi on the eve of our inaugural game of the season.

Even stripped him of the coveted #9 jersey - and handed it to his favoured Obafemi.

This was always on the cards with such crass, amateur mis-management.
