If they leave they’ll have to find a way of replacing the 60% of the total tax take that they currently contribute or work out which half of public services you want to cut.

It may be unpalatable but the rich move more easily than the less rich. Where they’ve introduced wealth taxes elsewhere they’ve been reversed.
Their companies are here, their kids are here, this notion they’d leave is poor excuse to go after the UK tax payer.

People voted in a different kind of blue.

Ah well, let them off then. Job done.

Let them go and take what they want with them. Someone else will take their place, that’s how most of them got there in the first place.

Project fear by those that have. While the rest of us have beans on toast for tea again, and grateful we should be as well.

They aren’t going anywhere. The real reason they get away scot free is because they’ll donate their money elsewhere

That's what happens in Wales.

There could be a rule that states you must sacrifice your first born on the steps of the Senedd and people would still vote for Labour because their great, great grand parents did.
that would be impossible though, surely?

The sooner we get back to diesel, the better.

I'm not one for modern transport. What if there was a power cut? All these electric cars would grind to a halt! Carmarthen Road would be chaos.

Not great in the wet either, for obvious reasons

I was thinking more along the lines that the great great grandparents were more likely to vote for the Whigs and the Tories
Always voted labour, mun. It’s a family tradition
