Surprised somebody hasn’t scoffed at the fact that it’s only PNE…fantastic marketing from the club, as they say……that’s show business.

Did you know Preston are taking 6,000 fans to Blackburn tonight? It must be nice having teams on your doorstep. Although I do like the fact we have such a big geographical area with only us.

Concerts don’t count and the rugby hasn’t ever had that many home fans, even for the Ospreys match v Australia.

Wasn’t counting the concerts. (Although given many are coming just to see a rapper it is probably somewhere between a game and a concert…)

Ospreys against Australia was capacity (20,520). Capacity is 500 more now? So probably about the same.

He was originally due to come before Christmas and that plan included him performing pre match to some extent.

They missed a trick in not linking the match though. ‘Buy a ticket for Bristol city to get priority’ or similar.

Ooh look we’ve sold out for Tuesday night and we haven’t for a Saturday early kick off when thousands of kids are playing football anll over south west wales and can watch it on the telly box when they get home for nowt because they won’t have time to get to the game.

They did miss a trick not to link the matches. It’s not a moan, it’s a fact. I haven’t seen anything on twitter to be honest other than I did see someone complaining about the t-shirts.

But as I’ve said yesterday this is all excellent for PSR.

For clarity. Are you saying that if anyone says, for example, they’ve missed a trick by not linking matches, that’s somehow ‘knocking the club’? Even when they’ve already said that it’s all great for PSR?

Bloody hell, it’s not a cult. There’s a few on here at the moment that seem to refuse to believe anything could be done better. Both on the playing side and on the commercial side.

A lot of things have improved, some small improvements, some huge improvements. But that doesn’t mean people can’t comment. A lot of things require a lot of improvement. Even now. It’s when people stop commenting and start not giving a toss you’ve got to worry.
