• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Great to see.

Isn't it just.
It would be great to think that morons who class people with a different orientation to themselves are few and far between, sadly, and I have to say this, events elsewhere last night on another site prove otherwise.
Not only was an individual, who clearly has homophobic views allowed to "air his views" but several other posters were given the opportunity to make light of his diatribe and also make disgusting remarks.
Thank goodness the "thread" was eventually taken down.

Absolutely no need for what went on last night, and perhaps some need to take stock, and review the content that's openly accessible for all to see...

I’ve never understood discrimination. It really upsets me, and I’ll always speak out against it.

You must be glutton for punishment Johnny, considering where you like to post and who you interact with on there. You will never change those people, no matter how reasoned or factual you are.

It’s always someone else’s fault too,always.

There’s a lot of decent people on there and some who I’ve put on ignore.

I like both sites, if I see a post I disagree with I’ll respond to them. I didn’t like what people were saying on the bbc page so I told them.

Keith, I think is doing his best to moderate things.

The BBC thread there was a disgrace to mankind and people need to take responsibility and stop blaming others.

The sooner you realise that you are part of the problem the better Darran.

In fairness to the mods, they’re not around 24/7, as soon as they realised what was happening it was taken down. I didn’t agree with the thread’s tone and replied to it.

It’s the same in any forum, sports club, work. There’ll be people who aren’t nice, and people who you like.

I’m happy to engage with anyone, especially those I disagree with, if they get personal, I just block them. Easily done. Life’s too short to stress about stuff.

You’ll have to tell me what I’ve done first then perhaps I’ll try to realise why I’m part of the problem.
Seriously go on tell me and everyone else what I’ve done to be part of the problem.

Don’t want to derail this thread as you do every one which doesn’t hero worship you 🤔
