They’ve played a game more than Brentford and Watford but are 10 points clear of both. They play at Wycombe on Sunday and are then home to Brentford, 6 points will open up a big gap. Swansea need to step up a gear and get back to winning ways.
Toney was absent from the Bees’ matchday squad for that defeat to Coventry at the weekend, and speaking after the game, Frank revealed that the striker could miss the next three or four games with a twisted ankle.
As a result, it seems that as well as missing that clash with Sheffield Wednesday, Toney could also absent for his side’s matches at home to Stoke and Rotherham, and their huge clash away to league leaders Norwich City a week on Saturday.

Well, ok, but Coventry are set up as a counter attacking team, so I'd rather see us get back to energetic defensive discipline first and foremost and stop them running free through our midfield or playing easily between the lines like Hudds and Forest managed with little resistance.
So yes more energy and intent for sure, but I wouldn't be making mass changes of personnel or huge set up changes, at least not to start. Smith, Cabango and maybe Manning for me. Ayew needs to do much more, and Lowe needs to just remember the player he was a few weeks ago. We don't have many options there. Maybe Ayew or Lowe up top alone with Hourihane behind shooting at every opportunity, and Smith, Fulton and Grimes keeping the door shut. I'd like to fit Dhanda in somewhere in these sort of games, but Hourihane seems to have closed that door a bit.
Personally, Ayew would not be in my starting team for a couple of games if I could find a way around him.
