Still haven’t contacted all the people on the flight from Zante yet.

Embarrassing

Public Health Wales-
Does illustrate how difficult it is. And why nationally so much time and money was spaffed on the non-functioning app

Each passenger had to fill out a form with contact details.

Surely it can’t be that difficult & pretty high priority for them.

But some people will have filled the form in wrong (deliberately and accidentally). Will not answer the phone to an unknown number. Will just ignore attempt to contact. Even when people know and understand rules, they still ignore them. We did work with sociology over in Manchester in food safety. We asked chefs about regs- all knew them, but when asked about cooking meat (chicken liver) ignored recommended advice as preferred their way.

If they would not wear masks on the plane what chance compliance now?

Apparently, those contact forms are not even asked for at airports, just the occasional spot check.

This is the case. Wife and daughter went to visit family in Tenerife and got caught in the rule change. No contact- though they had done the forms electronically, there was no checking or Manchester or subsequently. In contrast forms were checked and spot temperature checks at Tenerife South Airport.

Its Wales Cardiff Airport and Drakeford, why anyone is surprised is beyond me. They have got away with blue murder, and our hospitals are still not back to full functionality. People clapped and supported all of our NHS workers when in fact it was the limited front line staff who performed. I for one want to know what the managers are doing to back up this fantastic effort, and improve on what was a poorly run WELSH NHS before Covid and at the moment is even worse.

I think you should direct your anger at those who went out socialising and partying and those who don't wear masks

That’s because we, ( the UK) are a shambles. The airline should supply the details and they should be checking passports and phone numbers against the form, if people want the privilege of having a holiday abroad then they have to be prepared to compromise on their personal data. If they won’t put the right details on, then they shouldn’t be allowed to board the plane.

I suspect that our border force etc haven’t done any quarantine checks whatsoever nor do I believe that any of the Public Health organisations are doing checks. The Muldoons on the Zante Cardiff flight who have avoided answering the phone to track and trace callers should be fined and have their passports revoked.

Their flight (EasyJet) was compliant -masks, no nonsense. Beggars belief that people are so stupid,
But we are so shambolic there is no comeback.
My mother (whom they were visiting) cannot believe how lax we are

It seems if you filled the form out correctly you were not contacted

Surely it wouldn't be difficult to set up a database with the travel companies to provide a database with contact information for each person on a flight.

No they just went on holidays as did the Bristol flight the week earlier. Where everyone was contacted within 48hrs i believe. Masks are protective for those around you but count the number of times you touch it in a hour.

We are a small country and i cant understand why we haven't got first class or improving NHS and Education instead of going backwards. So i definitely think Drakeford and his ilk deserve scrutiny we have had hospitals failing and in special measures for years.

Mate I work for a company who supply the NHS with equipment for elective surgery (mainly hip/knee implants but all orthopaedic implants) the rest of the UK is back up to around 70% of surgeries guess where Drakeford's Welsh NHS are?

Its a fuking travesty.

As i said earlier we are a small Country and with the NHS Carwyn and Dickface could have made a difference. Instead they are so bad that Bojo laughs at Labour across the dispatch boxes.
