West London Sport is reporting that QPR could focus on a move for Jamie Paterson as it appears unlikely that their desire to sign Tom Lawrence from Derby will come to anything. The paper reports that talks with Derby are not progressing and that the R’s have started to look at other potential acquisitions...

A cool million please and no player in part ex, if George Thomas isn't good enough from them, he's not good enough for Swansea City, stump up the cash or exit through the stage door.

I must admit the thought of Thomas does not appeal at all - tend to be with you (although I think you have probably over egged the price) if they want him, stump up whatever we want and let us worry about who we need to replace him.

Yeah completely agree. Although I wasn't convinced by the Pato signing either and it worked out until now.

If we think back to the August window and everyone thought Grimes was off but Martin's language was different and we all know what happened there with him staying

It seems to be the same with Pato (language wise) - its clear he doesnt want to lose him and believes he can put all this behind him

Aye, the million is a bit far fetched to be honest, got 500k to 750k though surely.

Hopefully if so we can get that McAtee lad in on loan. Permanent player replaced by a loan which isn't ideal, but can't see no way back for Pato here, especially of Bristol City fans are right in what they are saying.

That he just downs tools all of the time, had a fall out with a manager before and some of his performances were "unforgivable" with the lack of effort. I'll try and find the link now, i'm sure someone posted it on here?

The modern day Jonjo Shelvey!

Fuck him. A sings when he's winning type.
Poor mental strength it seems.

He’ll be sold on deadline day I think, clubs will wait and see if we’re desperate then.

The main difference for me is Grimes loves the club and the city he has made home, Paterson on the other hand is the polar opposite, no respect for our club, city or supporters.
Get rid, one way or the other...
