No we were 3/4 players short before the window opened. With azeem and grimes gone that’s 6/7 short. T-joe-eon ? Never ever gets on so he needs replacing and joe Allen missing again so that’s another needs replacing

I agree but they did say that we are at least 3/4 short.

Ian Walsh did say that he thought another dip would come after Xmas as the squad was so thin, he didn't expect it immediately into January.

Said it might be a blessing it's happened now, forcing the owners hand to get players in.

I heard some information that pitch has a lifespan of something like 5 years - something to do with the plastic bits in the grass decaying and no amount of artificial light is going to save it once that lifespan has been reached. The pitch has degenerated more quickly than expected and probably to do with the rugby and weather making it worse. It looks awful but somehow the other teams can manage to score on it!!!
