• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The whole reducing the number of carriages from ten to five thing happens a lot these days on the Swansea to Paddington route. It’s fucking annoying and at peak times (as Max has said) potentially very dangerous. I hate trains. I’ve spent too many hours on them for too long.
The decision was made in Swansea, even though the knew that the platforms at Neath and Port Talbot stations were filling up, they couldn't give a fuk, cause people need the convivence of the train and will pay the same price to stand, two guards came through the carriages and were copping some serious flack, I complained to then all be it civilly and one them told me put an email together and send it in and you'll be compensated, I said that's not my point, but he said the more that do it the more chance of them listening, I had 14 quid back, Lad travels back and forth to his office in Cardiff and he has to stand a lot of the time, not sure that's a good idea now with the condition he's been diagnosed with.
Been looking for a flat there, but its to expensive, plus I think he'd rather be home now after his issues over the last 6 months or so.
