Do you think we might agree a pre contract with Ogbene, use Whittaker and see where we are in the summer with him?

Rotherham sold someone earlier for 1.5M and his deal is also up in June to Boro.

Not sure if we’d do a pre contract, just got a sneaky feeling he’ll be a swans player by end of the window regardless.

Is he gonna be worth it though, there doesn't seem to be other Clubs showing any great interest, I think if there was he'd be at one of those Clubs by now.

This is a no brainier.

Swans get transfer income, Whittaker plays at a higher level with Rangers, including Europe, because all he will do at Swansea is warm the bench or mix it with the Under 23s.

Why on earth are we holding out for a better deal?

I suspect the Yanks are holding out to the last minute to bag the cash and say there was insufficient time to buy another player before the transfer deadline.

I care not one iota what happens to Whittaker, Obafani is someone else's problem now and who really cares if Pato gets his move away, fact is we are only a few days away from another unimpressive widow closing shut and we are once again scratching around for a couple of loans to patch up the squad.
Surely our luck will run out one day soon, there's only so much the cupboard can withstand before becoming bare...
