• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I see the Woodman haters have got their knives put again. Anothet clean sheet still they crucify one of our own players.

It is quite bizarre in a game that we won with a clean sheet that the current lowest of the starting XI is the goalkeeper...

Not really, what did he have to do? A couple of catches and one save he made from an opportunity he gave Luton.
So then you have to look at other parts of his game, mainly distribution which was shocking.
Can we add a manager rating please?

When the Sky commentators made regular reference to the swirling wind and its strength together with the number of crosses and size of the opposition I think Woodman did very well. It’s a great performance from a very young keeper who has spent almost all his first time football with us. The pitch was pretty poor with a lot of our players were slipping over.

Yet still not good enough for some, we have some very inexperienced players who are going to make errors, cut them slack.

Which is very young for a keeper, his only real experience of proper football has been with us.
